How do you deal with a suspected Poker Bot?
I'm playing .5/1 Limit at PP, and have run into what I'm 99% sure is a poker bot. The suspect is ALLWAYS on, no matter when I log on. He only ever plays 1 table, if that matters to Bots.
And in my Poker Tracker DB, has 19,500 Players, with an averge number of 50 hands/player. I have over 1300 hands on our suspect, with in only a few weeks. The good news is that he's down $56 so far. FYI, suspects stats are as follows: VP$IP: 14% PFR: 2.3% PFA:1.9% WTSD:25% W$SD:52% Check Raise: 0.31% And he's hidden from a buddy search. Based on this alone, I'd add this guy to my buddy list try to seat him to my left and try to steal his blinds, and respect the hell out of his raises. In other words, play him no different than any other rock.... I guess my bigger question is of a philosophical nature. I've seen threads here (none showed up after a search, however) regarding bots and the ethicalness(?) of them. It was pretty clear the Zoo is strongly opposed to them. Is it appropriate to start a separate thread or Data Base to tracked suspected Bots here (as a way of discouraging them)? Or do we just track them in our personal buddy lists? |
