New To Tournies - Dont wanna be blinded out....

I was short stacked about 24 players left. Blinds are 2k/4k. I'm in the big and the they are running the tables 12 handed still. (live tourney) I had 6k in chips (after posting the big) and I get J3 off. Two short stacks push and one tight player who I know has me way dominated (won't make this move without AQ or better) and the short stacks probably do also. At what point do I just say I gotta go? If I just tighten up I can pay the small and big and still have 4k left for another 10 hands or so... easy fold?
