when do you realize that it's time for a break?

this question is probably similar to magicman's earlier post, but i was wondering if any of you can give me advice on taking a break from poker... specifically, what led some of you guys to take a break, how did you restrict yourself, and what were the results? i've been playing seriously for about a year, and while i've made more money than i know what to do with, i recognize that poker has had some negative effects on my life. i'm trying to rectify some of these problems, and i'm pretty sure taking a break will help me do it. anyways, any advice and personal experiences will be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot.
