Default TT hand

Ok so my initial read was that the pf raiser had an overpair on the flop. I read this player as typically weak/passive. I considered the option to fold the hand but thought I would be giving the player too much credit.

I opted to raise and was called. At this point Its pretty clear that Im beat, a K comes on the turn narrowing down the hands i was ahead of even more.

I bet on the turn intending to check down the river as I did, when in reality, It seems I should have checked the turn and folded the river UI, or would this be far too weak?
