What do I do here?? (shorthanded overpair)
Button was loose. I hadn't seen any moves from him so far. SB tighter and more passive. I'd been throwing my chips around a bit but nothing crazy.
Paradise Poker Pot-Limit Omaha High, $0.50 BB (3 handed) converter SB ($20.25) Hero ($45.50) Button ($49.00) Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. Button calls $0.50, SB (poster) completes, Hero raises to $1.75, Button calls $1.50, SB calls $1.50. I don't like raising OOP but surely its right here? Flop: ($6) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero bets $6, Button calls $6, SB folds. I half expect to be called so the flop is the time to make a plan for the hand. I didn't have one. Still don't. Turn: ($18) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero ?? Are overpairs like this a creditibility issue? Does he think I'll go all the way with it and is he prepared to do something about it if not. How far should I be prepared to go? If I do go with the hand is there a slower way of getting it to showdown? Should I accept it's just one pair? Thanks James |
