Default A poker \"buddy\" killed himself today

I'd had been playing with this guy off and on for 1 1/2 years. He started with 4-8 games, but wasn't as good as he thought he was. I tired to turn him on to 2+2 and other sites, but he said he never had the time.

Eventually he ran good and moved up in limits despite my warnings. About 5 months ago, he had moved up to 1/2 NL with a $1,000 buy in. He told me time and time again that he was winning, but I knew some of the guys he was playing with, and I figured it was only a matter of time before he'd come back down to small stakes.

2 weeks ago he was arrested for embezellment from his own company. He was put in jail for about a week before he got bailed out. I don't know how much he took, but it must have been alot, cause today he killed himself, leaving behind a wife and 2 kids. I guess the thought of a long prison term was too much for him to handle.

He wasn't a close friend, just a guy who I played poker with now and then. I'm kinda freaked about the whole thing.
