Default Good Push or bad push?

5 players left in a 58 person tournament. BLinds are 1K/2K. I have 24K left and am 2nd in chips.

1st place pays out 250, 2nd 50, 3rd, 35, 4th 25.

Reads:

Button plays any 2 from position and raises on any ragged flop or if noone shows a desire to take it.

SB is generally selectively aggressive and has been reraising button consistently and taking down pots. I read him as a smart player who takes advantage of situations.

BB is Hero (aka me)

BB is dealt K/4 off

UTG, MP fold, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

SB has ~30K
Hero (BB) has ~24K
Button has about 10K

Flop is K/x/3

SB checks, BB checks, Button raises to 2K (min raise), SB raises to 4K, BB raises all-in, Button folds, SB calls.

I put SB on a re-steal and not a huge hand.. at best 2nd pair or a draw. Button I was pretty darn sure was on a stone cold bluff. I checked the flop expecting Button to bet, SB to raise or call, and me to reraise them both off the hand with top pair, or double up if they called.

Do you play it any different? Is this fairly standard?
