6 max or 10 max?

I've been analyzing my play on PokerTracker recently and I've noticed that most of the money I lose is on the blinds! Then I started thinking more about why this might be the case... then it dawned on me. I only play about 15-20% of the hands I see and with 6 max tables, I see the blinds more than if I were to sit at the 10 max table. I fold a lot of bad cards in the blind spots, and thus, lose money. It's such a simple thing and so stupid that I didn't realize sooner. So does anyone here play at the 6-max table and if so, why?
