Raising in NL turny question

The other situation I've had came up when I was playing in a tournament in a casino up in MN. I raised a pot to say 1000. I believe there were a few limpers in the pot at 100/200 and I was trying to either take it down or isolate against a single player with a big hand. A player went all in for what was like $1125. it was a minor bump of my raise. The limpers all called the allin. When it got back to me, I was told that I didn't have the option of raising again. I wondered if that was specific to that casino or if you've seen that ruling.
