Straight on 3-flush board vs. big bluffer
Omaha Hi $1-$1 PL (real money)
Seat 1: SB ($77.50 in chips) Seat 2: Hero [5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img],4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img],9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img],8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] ($100 in chips) Seat 3: UTG ($140.25 in chips) Seat 4: Villain 1 ($70.50 in chips) Seat 6: MP ($115.25 in chips) Seat 7: MP1 ($97 in chips) Seat 8: Villain 2($80.75 in chips) Seat 10: Button ($243.25 in chips) PRE-FLOP UTG calls $1, Villain 1 calls $1, 2 calls, Villain 2 calls $1, Button calls $1, SB checks, Hero checks. FLOP [board cards 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ] SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, Villain bets $2, 2 folds, Villain 2 calls $2, 2 folds, Hero calls $2, UTG folds. Villain 1 is quite something. He plays every hand preflop for any price, bets every flop, turn and river when checked to. Can't fold bottom two to any raise, etc. Villain 2 is a big bluffer. He'll call down any reasonable bets just to bet any draw that hits the river. Flop call is loose, I'm looking for blanks to hit the turn so I can pop it up and isolate Villain 1. TURN [3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ] Hero checks, Villain 1 bets $5, Villain 2 calls $5, Hero raises to $25, Villain 1 calls $20, Villain 2 calls $20. That didn't work out too well. What am I doing on any river that isn't a non-diamond ace, 9, or 8? RIVER [A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ] Hero checks, Villain 1 checks, Villain 2 bets $52.75 and is all-in, Hero? Is this a reasonable call or must I really worry about Villain 1 overcalling with something like bottom set or a small flush? |
