Default how do you play ak in this situation?

This situation is bugging me, trying to figure out best EV in this situation-

You have AK and raise and it is folded to all but the BB or a limper who got trapped coming in early
you get a flop like - A 7 4 rainbow
How fast do you play your TPTC?
DO you bet into it knowing the other player is weak and will fold almost everytime, letting you take a small pot with a good hand -or-
Do you check it, trying to let him catch up enough to get a call out of him or a possible bluff on turn or river. risking a sure win for an extra bb, possibly 2

I know it largely depends on situational aspects but any general ideas about this are appreciated
