What's with the "bring in"?

What\'s with the \"bring in\"?

How should the bring in be played? Is it compared to the SB in Holdem? Or more like a BB with a raise in front of you?

Should you be calling with a lesser hand, since you will be getting better odds on your money? Or, is a muck hand a muck hand?
I know it depends...

Does this make any sense?
