Villain is 45/17. It seems like he checkraises the turn EVERY hand heads up, but I have only had enough to call him down once and he had top pair. An opponent like this presents a real dilemma for me on the turn and I gather that they are more prevalent at 10/20. I feel like if I actually had balls I would just go ahead and bet the turn and then call him down when he raises. But I would feel like a moron paying three big bets to showdown when I could have paid one. On the other hand I hate to reward his willingness to checkraise every hand by not betting.
PREFLOP: Hero open raises UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img],K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Only the BB calls. FLOP: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img],6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls. TURN: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB checks, Hero checks. RIVER:J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] BB bets, Hero calls. Would you have played this differently? Would your answer change if the turn card had been 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]? What about 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]? What about Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]?
