dont worry about it. we were all unfamiliar with this game at some point.

although with regards to holding the nuts on the flop, i think i need to clarify. not that we're saying the nuts on the flop is worthless, just that the nuts on the flop isnt worth very much UNLESS it is a hand you can see holding up a good majority of the time with a decent scoop possibility. omaha and 0/8 is a game of draws and redraws. unlike HE (sorry for the assumption of your previous poker background), multiple draws are often out as getting 2x the number of cards means 6x as many hands. it's just a matter of adapting to a different game.

i do remember your frustration post awhile back. i do hope you not give up on this game, as i personally find it much more profitable than anything else. more importantly, it's so much more fun! as long as you learn to deal with the bad players that is...
