Default Re: Best lines said/heard after a suckout(low content)

Just tonight, at a little tiny stakes homegame... $20 buy, pl.

Numbers are fudged.

Player 1 raises to $1.25.
Player 2 re-raises to roughly $4.
Player 1 pops it to $12
Player 2 instantly pushes his stack in, which is the $12 plus about $6 extra.
Player 1 calls.

Player 1 has QQ.
Player 2 has J8o.

One of his Jacks was dead.

J on the flop, 8 on the river.

The raiser with QQ says "Seriously, that was absolutely awful" and he's all pissed off

As the sentence is finishing, the J8o player says "...ly good for me" as he scoops the pot.

I liked that one.

This is the same guy who shoved preflop with T4 to my AJ. Flop is J T x, turn x, river 4. As soon as the card hits, he says with a dead serious look on his face "... No further questions."

It might be a lot funnier just knowing the guy who delivers these lines, but I liked them regardless.
