Is the 100% (or 50%) bonus the wave of the future?

Empire's new bonus is 100%. Have they realized that there will be less deposit/withdrawal action if they do not require big deposits for low limit fish? Are they trying to save on neteller fees?

UB has done 50% bonuses routinely, other small sites do as well.

Are we moving away from the 15% or 20% bonuses to the 50% or 100% bonuses? Or is this just coincidental?
