Default AKs in BB, middle stage

This is a hand from the WSOP Event #2 ($1500NLHE). Average stack is probably around T4000, blinds 100/200 with 25 ante, 8-9 players. I am on the BB. John D'Agostino is in the SB, it folds to him and he limps. He has T2100 more behind, I have about T5000. I look down at AKs and announce raise. When I look at his stack size and the size of the pot I can't decide on a good amount to raise that won't give me a weird decision on the flop the 2/3 of the time that I miss.

What's your play here and your plan for the flop?
