Al Ruck - Man of Mystery

I was curious if anybody knows who this Al Ruck character is. He is currently sitting in a close second in the Hi-Lo Split Stud event. I guess my main question is: is Al Ruck really Alan Ruck, the dude who played Cameron in Ferris Buehler's Day Off? If so, that would be awesome and he would become my new favorite poker player.
