Default proper tipping

Why should I feel guilty about my tipping habbits? I mean why should I tip all my money away? The games are hard to beat consistenly any way and Im copeting with the rake, now the dealers act like they expect 2or3 dollars out of pot? I DONT THINK SO. Hey Im not cheap, I tip well at restaurants bars etc. But did the dealer really do anything? Why should he or she get my money for dealing me good cards and what if they werent good cards just my ablity to pick up the pot with a junk hand. Should I not get a tip for that? I used to over tip, then I realized hey 12-15hrs of play and I tip away 40-50 bucks could make the differnce between good or bad session. I like the rules over seas no tipping the dealer. The house is making a killing the should just pay them more in my opinion. Belive me I dated a dealer for a while and she made more money then most players make a week.I dont feel bad. This little rant stems for a episode at the hard rock casino in tampa last night. 2 dollar game thats it which already sucks 5 dollar rake again cant beat that The high low games are the games that i stuied and saw you can win because the people dont understand the game. I scope a large pot for a 2 dollar game (like 140 or something) with a steal wheel. I gave 50cents (like the hip hop guy) to the dealer and the jerk says jee thanks. WHat a jerk these other idiots are tipping 5 dollars on 22 dollar pots. I give 50cents tips in that game not my fault they are spoiled with huge tips (like half the pot) Im I being to cheap or is tipping correct. Rember 2 max, bet 5 dollar rake, you need a strong hand to win because 7 or 8 people in on the river.
