Requesting sad violin music about a case hand on Party 5/10...
OK here is the hand.......
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 6 folds, Hero calls, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: (3 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks. Turn: (1.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets, BB folds, Hero calls. River: (3.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls. Final Pot: 5.50 BB So, after the hand ends I check out the qualifications for the "Party Poker High Hand Jackpot", and I actually thought I won the prize. I didn't realize that I wasn't at an elligible table until I got a return email from Party telling me so. So OK everyone, go ahead and laugh at me. I must say I have to laugh after coming this close to $1550 and not getting it because I wasn't at a "jackpot" table. I fulfilled every other qualification, and I even had the pleasure of being teased by Party's first email response, which said, "congratulations on winning a high hand jackpot", but they later clarified their congratulatory response as, "oh, we meant congratulations on hitting the ultimate poker hand," which I thought was really lame. Anyway, this is my sad royal flush story -- the only royal I've ever hit. So go ahead and dog me for not winning the jackpot now-because this was indeed submitted for your entertainment. |
