Re: My TruePoker WSOP 120K Hands Challenge - Update # 6
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Results so far: Hands Needed: 120,000 Hands Played: 91,229 Hands Left: 28,771 Estimated Hours: 292 Hours Played: 222 Hours to go: 70 Winning/Losings: + 573.00 [/ QUOTE ] Are you missing a 0 in there somewhere? This is horrible for 100000 hands, unless you are playing .05/.10, then good job [/ QUOTE ] Give the dude a break. I'm amazed he's able to play break-even poker... He's playing like 500 hands an hour for like 6 hours a day on top of a job. I would be hemmoraging cash. Hah. -Todd And though I think there's something sick and wrong with this much poker... I commend you for your work ethic. Good luck, Doyle! [/ QUOTE ] Thanks, Todd. Believe me, I am more disappointed than anyone about my miniscule win rate. With that being said I think some people are totally discounting the value of the WSOP trip I am going to win. Value of trip: $ 13,000, True points: $ 700.00 (approximately) plus whatever I hopefully end up winning once this challenge is completed. A winning 1 BB/100 hands $3/$6 player (including rakeback) would have to play 237,883 hands to equal this value. And I also agree that there is something sick... very, very sick about playing this much poker in this amount of time and I would not recommend it for anyone else. And you are also right about my work ethic, it is "the workaholic" in me that allows me to do this. And I am working this hard at it because I view the value I will be receiving for this at the end of this challenge worth it. Thanks again. |
