Default Re: JJ in middle stages of tourney

Erm... I'm clearly the only one on this thread who thinks this is a marginal FOLD... My reason being I have way to often seen fish call with AQ/KQ in these positions to make it profitable to raise all in, and face a coin flip, not to mention the potential to run into QQ/KK or AA. With the blinds at 50/100 you have an ubelievable amount of play in your chips with over 2k, and to potential throw this away on a coin flip I think is a poor decision, so early in the tournament.

Of course if you want to try and accumulate some chips quickly rather than plod along like I normally do, then you could move in, but I personally would fold. There are too many hands that could beat you.

I don't agree with the guy that said raise, it's a a clear push or fold... If I'm playing the hand I'd put all my chips in, cos there much more likely to fold AQ and KQ and possibly QQ, and 900 is a tough spot to be in, tho clearly not impossible to get out of.
