I'm just getting very frustrated with the Brick poker rooms.
I log some major hrs on on-line play - playing at paradise, Party, pacific and ultimate bet. I do well at 2-4 and 3-6 on-line. but I have some problems playing at the local card rooms - in particular Hollywood Park (for those of you that know). I realize I have much to learn. My problem is I consistantly lose at Hollywood P. I play 2-4 and 3-6 - and it seems I'm always getting out-drawn. The players there are loose - capping the Pre-flop bet with rags like J8s - with many players seeing the flop. It's just such a different game to the on-line games I'm used to. Much looser. I seem to be having problems adjusting to this style of play. It's almost like pair's - even QQ, KK and AA - never hold up. Does anyone have any pointers and adjusting from the tight on-line game to these live poker games? Thanks. |
