Pocket Aces Play
I'm not really sure if I was making a smart or anti-value move here.
1-2 limit HE 10-handed on Party in a relatively tight table. Preflop: folded around to 8th position who raises, 9th position re-raises, I'm on the button with Aces and just call. Again, I'm not saying it was the right move but my justification for this is (assuming the blinds don't cold-call 2.5 and 2 more bets, which may be wrong): If the initial raiser caps, my hand is really well-concealed, and if he doesn't cap (which is what I expected), I plan to raise a bet that will surely come out on the flop before I act, or perhaps just call if I hit a set and raise the turn. Thanks for reading. I'd sincerely appreciate the input. |
