Default Get a clue, guys

Why don't you guys get it? David has been playing poker in Vegas for 30 years. In all that time, he has always passed on what he considered "bad" games. He is a business person, first and foremost. His books promote the idea of playing against weaker opponents.

David didn't get to the position he is in (financially) by making poor bets. He got there by exploiting each and every offer (from casinos, sportsbooks, and yes, other players) that he mathematically figured to be +EV.

Sure, I'd like to see him put up the kind of money Daniel is asking for, but that's between David and his bankroll, and his comfort level. Just because others are willing to risk more money, does not make David less of a player, less of a man, or less of a math genius. Probably, it just reenforces the belief that you take "good" bets, and you do better than risking "bad" ones to save face.

Also, remember the original offer came from Daniel, it was not a challenge from David.

Any of you dissenters playing in the $10K WSOP? If not, why? I'm not, because I haven't won a seat, and don't think it's +EV for me. Is David allowed to use the same logic?
