Betfair is taking bets on, among other things, various name pros making the final table of the main event.
At this stage, the odds on most of the pro's are in the vicinity of 100-1, with Phil Ivey worst at just 50-1. Assuming 6000 entrants (and therefore "fair" odds of 600-1 against making the final table), do you think name pros have a 6x better chance of making the final table than a player "equal" to the field? i.e. do you like taking this bet? http://www.betfair.com/?pi.localeId=...pi.regionId=NA obviously I'm not affiliated with the site. I don't even have an account there (and I hear they don't allow US patrons) |
