Default Do you fold KK here?

Ok this is from memory from a 25NL Party game last night.

Preflop:
villian - raises $2
MP - calls $2
Hero (KK) - raises to $6

villian - reraise to $10
MP - folds
Hero - calls $4

FLOP:
6QQ rainbow

Villian leds out with $10 bet into ~$22 pot.

Hero?????

Ok my read on Villian was that he was a tight player that hadn't made too many moves or got out of line. He hadn't raised this big preflop to this point and I had been sitting at the table for 100 hands or so with him. The reraise preflop signalled AA to me. I wouldn't think he had QQ as he probably would check raise me. JJ is the other possibility and he was commiting himself to that hand.

Was folding KK smart?
