Kind of a check up.
This is from a recent 2/5 limit session at the Brantford Charity Casino.
Players of note: EP: aggressive when he's got it. Pretty passive when not. Loose but not hilariously loose, he probably only sees 40% flops (as compared to the rest of the table, which is hilariously loose). MP: old guy who's only been here an orbit. he's played probably half the hands he's been dealt. not really made any moves, it seems that he folds when he knows he's beat. Suits in this hand are unimportant. I get JJ on the button. EP raises, 2 cold calls, MP cold calls, I 3-bet, blinds get out (this surprised me, they were terrible), EP caps, others fold, MP calls, I call. Flop comes: J98. EP bets, MP raises, I cold call, EP calls. Turn: 5. EP checks, MP bets, I raise, EP calls two cold (he has AA or KK, I'm sure of it, but MP is a bit of a mystery). River: 3. Check, check, I bet, call, call. Is my line here more or less standard or did I blow it? I'm mainly asking about my flop-turn line. |
