Played in my usual free bar tourney last night... good times as usual. This is a $0 buyin... and winner gets a chance to play in another tourney to get a chance to play in a tourney for some cash. Not exactly high stakes here. Typically a very laid back vibe as it's about half regulars who all play cash games outside the bar.

Well.. there are occationally some people who bust out sunglasses or something, but they're typically laughed out of the place as there's really no reason for that in a free friendly bar game. Last night presented something special, however.

Last night the good lord gave us "Rico" (no joke.... that was his name).

Rico was about a 45 year old man with a long ponytail, backwards Pokerstars hat, HUGE wraparound mirrored shades, the gaudiest 12k Gold rings coated with diamond chip on nearly every finger, a huge gold chain dangling around his neck outside of his "SouthPole" shirt.

The best part was Rico came prepared. He had his fancy card cover, but most importantly Rico brough not only his intense demeanor which somehow managed to perfectly mock the "WPT" act (dramatic pauses for every action, hardcore staredowns for no reason, etc)..... but Rico brought his own chips.

Yes, Rico brought 8 $1 chips from the local Hollywood Casino that he had apparently purchased to shuffle while he's playing. Why this tool would buy chips to bring to a game so he could shuffle them (when presumably he would have chips in front of him) is beyond me but the vision of Rico was absolutely priceless.

Rico was so entertaining that I had to snap a quick photo with a friend's cameraphone.



Rico emulates pros so much that I thought it would be funny to have some pros bust on him [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
