Casino bookings don't work like regular hotel bookings. If Party books 1000 rooms for people to play in the WSOP, that is 1000 rooms of people not gambling at the MGM. Hence they pay a higher rate.

If you want the worst rate possible at a casino hotel, tell them you are attending a convention.
