Default I wonder how many people thought what i thought

I didn't understand the bad beat jackpots when I first started playing them. I had read that the hand had to be four 8s. I misunderstood the meaning to be that anybody beat by four eights won the jp.

This would lead to playing any eight and crapping my pants everytime I saw 88. Then I really almost crapped my pants when I hit trip eights. I wonder how many new people are playing an incorrect form of bad beat jackpot. More likely than my scenrio is people not knowing that both cards have to be used. A person thinking only one was neccasary may chase straight flushes farther than normal.

What do you think?
