Default Got lucky on a raise or correct play?

just sat down. im betting the flop and turn since i have my pair and OESD. The ten hit on the river and i didnt know what to think, did he have a ten? why was he still in the hand? so i raised him, he called the raise. he had nothing. but was it a dumb move to raise him there? i had been showing agression the whole time. would u raise 55 from my position to try and steal the button?
