Angle Shoot?

Playing in a NL Tournament.

Hero is the BB with KK. Blinds are 100/200. Hero has good sized stack of about 6,500.

3 Limps to hero.

Hero raises to 1,000.

MP and Button Call, SB Folds.

Flop comes K 7 3 - Rainbow.

Hero first to act lets his time run out, is quickly put on away, and MP now bets.

Hero quickly gets back to the table while the button is thinking about what to do, and can now still act on his turn.

I didn't mean to miss my turn, but after the button folds, I raise enough to put MP all in. He calls - flips over A7, and MHIG.

I got berated for angleshooting here, but I was away cause one of my kids was bugging me for a second.

Please let me know if I did something "unethical", and please remember - the other people have no idea why i suddenly sat out, and came back.
