I've never really liked Clarkmeister's Theorem. I understand that it'll work, but I kept getting the feeling that inducing a bluff would be more profitable than the 40% chance HU that a guy has a single heart. And people with worse hands will bet.
I finally found a Clarkmeister's Theorem instance where I check/called rather than bet/folded, and I think I don't mind it so much. My feelings on the matter I couldn't quantify other than "Hey, this never [censored] works, top pair STILL calls the bet, and my busted AKo doesn't mean crap." And even the fishiest LPP in the world could wrangle up a bluff on a 4-flush board. Or to you guys, is TPGK worth a check/call? I'm sure there's some big archived discussion about it, but I didn't find one.
