Did I overplay my hand?

Game just started about an hour ago - villian is spewing chips, almost through a rack of red already. I've seen 1 flop in 3 orbits, and it was from the small blind the only time my blinds didn't get raised.

I get J9s on the button and decide to raise it up, hoping to use my tight image to steal back a couple of the blinds that have been taken from me. Villian was the only limper from mid-position, and he calls after both blinds fold.

Flop is 3-J-3, rainbow. Villian insta-bets, I raise, he re-raises, I call.

Turn 9. He bets, I raise, he gives me a puzzled look and calls.

River 3. He checks, I bet, he calls.

Did I overplay this hand?
