They probably are doing something more profitable with it... but if you have the gear and can make some money off of a niche market, it's better to do that than have the equipment sit idle.

As to the guy pimping this "printing on chips" or whatever and his strange reaction to our reaction: WTF did you expect man? You've never posted in HP before from what I can tell... you come in here with a pretty obvious spam. It certainly seems as if this is your business or you're a shill. If not... ok, sorry, but it seems as if you are shilling. That's spam and you know how the 2+2 crowd feels about spam. Had you come at the topic with the attitude of, "I have a cool design that this company will print for me, anyone want a group buy?" it would have been much better recieved. I'm also a little concerned that you want to "hold out" the name/link/contact info for this company... you just saving the goods for yourself? My shady meter is pegging on this.
