[ QUOTE ]
Very true, they're not that attractive. They're Chipcos. Chipcos are ugly. Therefore the egyptians and the suits are ugly. I think of these chips like trying to polish a turd. However much you polish it, it's still a turd. The egyptians and the suits are the BEST chipco chips I've ever seen, including all the ugly crap they make us play with in casinos. Thinking about it, Fins might have made the best looking set of chipcos around. I'm just a clay man. I'm still not going to start a whole new thread to slam someone's chips. Hell... I use nexgens. [/ QUOTE ] IF a chipco is a turd, what does that make a 11.5 gm dice chip? I wouldn't call chipco's turds, I find them quite appealing. I don't even try and compare them to a clay chip. In fact I tink everyone should own a set of both. While different I still love the sound of my ceramics. As for the designs. Obviously I love the suits. AS for Ten's Chips, I don't think I would ever consider buying his chipco's. Just not my style. I don't like the way they look, but I do KNOW they look good. The design is flawless. It is well thought out and well executed. They are not ugly chips. They are just not what I myself would buy. While still not hooked on the egyptian theme, the clays are very appealing. Ten is dead on about the theme of the chips. It's what ties it all together. That's why is first set was so great and why his clays are going to be even better. The hard part for me is a theme subtle enough that I know I will like it forever. |
