"A Tournament of Thievery" --- where did all the gold go?

Erh, this is not exactly about tournaments, and I might have missed the explanation in the FAQ (in which case I'm sure I'll attract plenty of flack, but who cares [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]):

I was looking for a post like 6 - 8 month old by (I believe) eMarkM called "A Tournament of Thievery" ... and it's gone. Basically I can't find any posts prior to August 2004 ... and they're NOT in the "Older archives" forum. I can't even find my own old posts (sigh)???

Anybody has an idea if posts a year old or so are still available online? Or does 2 + 2 systematically retire them with the intention of publishing them in a "2 + 2 Poker Gold" book in near future?
