Default Question - Typical Opening Bets in Live NL - $100 Max ($1/$2 Blinds)

Morning all:

Can any folks who normally play B&M NL $100 max comment on typical opening bets/raise amounts?

I played it for the first time live last night, and had a hard time adjusting (have played online NL only, but plenty of B&M limit). The opening PF raises were typically $10-$12 (5-6BB), and typical flop opening bets/raises were in the $10-$30 range (10-15BB).

This seemed a bit steep to me - is this normal? I was having a hard time gaining any momentum (and stack). Waiting for good cards, not having them turn into anything, etc. I was expecting opening bets/raises to be a bit lower ($4-$8 - 2BB-4BB).

Thanks,
jbc
