Default Does this make any sense?

So, I started 4-tabling Party 2-4 in late January. Prior to that, I had played some limit Holdem online and BM and lots of Sit-n-gos. I have read HPFAP and SSH, and I consider myself an OK player considering my experience. I jumped right to 4 tables and struggled with the speed for a little while. However, during this period when I was struggling, I was up about 230 BBs over a period of about two weeks. As I became more comfortable with 4 tabling, my win rate went way down. I realize that this is all likely to the normal variance and other such concepts. Anyway, I gave back just about all that I had won. So, here is my question/thought...
As I became more comfortable with the multiple tables, I possibly started to over-analyze situations and make bad calls/folds. When I first started, the speed of the play forced me to make quick decisions and go with my first instinct. This weekend, I took away one of the 2-4 Holdem tables and added a 3-6 Omaha table. Since I haven't played a lot of Omaha, I am forced to pay closer attention to this game than to Holdem. As a result, I feel like my decisions at the Holdem tables have to be made more quickly, just as they were when I first started. I finshed the weekend up about 100 BBs.
I know I'm probably crazy, but does anyone see any merit to this? It would seem that the more time you have to make decisions and the more comfortable you are, the better you would play. I know this type of post usually gets dumped on, especially from a guy with 4 posts, so flame away if you must.
