Default How do you play an overpair, and why?

I don't know how many times I've had this situation, but it must be one of the most common in poker - you raise with two big cards - say AK - and completely miss the flop.

An ep limp-caller bets out.

How do you play this, and why?

If it helps, lets say you have a weak read on the ep, showing he's loose-aggresive, and the other two players are in the blinds. There's nothing exceptional about either of them.
