Order of showing on river - need help!
I've been playing in a $5-10 limit home game. There are a few ill-considered rules in use. E.g., no buy-the-button, ok to bet $5 or $10 on the turn or river unless someone's bet $10, and when you're all-in you can choose to go truly all-in or go light. The worst for me is that if the river is checked down, whoever bet the turn has to show first.
I hate this rule. It's going to take a lot of effort to get the rule changed (there may not be enough flexibility at all), so I want to go in with every argument at hand. How would you argue against this rule? And, does any casino you play in still do this for limit hold em? Thanks, Matt |
