Pokertracker and getting old hand histories

Prior to getting PT a couple of weeks ago, I had never requested any hand histories from Party. After getting PT, I found out that hand histories go directly into your C- drive or whatever but they only stay there for a month.

I was able to upload the month's stuff into PT.

But is there anyway to retrieve older hand histories? What happens to all this stuff after 30 days? Are they just gone forever never to be retrievable or do they go somewhere else in your computer where you an still access them?

If I can't get them from my computer, would Party be able to oblige by giving me old hand histories?
