AK from BB, correct play or was I just lucky?
Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. MP1 posts a blind of $0.5. 1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP1 (poster) checks, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero raises, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, CO calls, SB folds. Flop: (10 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players) Hero bets, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, CO folds. Turn: (6 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, MP1 folds. Final Pot: 7 BB Thanks goes out to UTG+1 and MP1 who contribute 1 SB each and then fold pre-flop. The flop misses me completely, but it can't be of much use to anyone else either (there could be an 87 or 98 out there). With the pre-flop raise a bet seems to be in place, right? Two folds. Nice. The turn card feels relatively safe as well so I bet out again. Did I just get lucky here that the opponents folded their hands, or was this the correct way to play AKo with this type of flop/turn? |
