Default ok, i must be missing some simple math here??

i recently signed up on empire and i was trying to figure out how there vip points worked. i have over 50,000 on party so i thought that i probably have a few on empire even though i've only been playing there about a month. on their site, it says you calculate the number of points by taking the square root of the number of raked hands. their example was that for 121 raked hands, you would receive 11 points. it says the minimum number of points you need is 5,000. now i know i haven't had math in awhile but my calculator says that i would have to play 25 million raked hands to receive 5,000 points. someone please tell me what i'm missing??? thanks.
