Full Ring VS. 6max

So I've gone back to full ring games and I have been doing extremely well. Prior to the move I had been playing almost exclusively shorthanded for about a year. Now I have gone back to full-ring and have been crushing the game. Now Im sure i am running good at the moment, but I believe the skills I have picked up playing shorthanded have made me a much better full ring player. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Looking at it now I see many advantages over playing Full ring to 6-max. Basically I'm asking for opinions/facts on the advantages and disadvantages of each game.
