Fire on the flop or check?

Live PL holdem game. £20 buy in.

Blinds are .25/.25

I have just sat at the table so no reads on anyone.

8 players.

I am dealt 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the cutoff.

Folded to me and I bet the pot. Button calls.

Flop is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

This sort of situation I stuggle with.

Do I check the flop, or make a bet and fold to a raise?
