skip $1/$2 and go straight to $2/$4

I've been mixing both levels into my game as my party BR has gotten over $1000. Every time I play the 1/2, my table has 7 or 8 rocks/eagles/moneybags. The 2/4 game seems to have a more normal mix of fish and taz players thrown in. Over 8,000 hands of 1/2, I'm running about -2bb/100. Over 5,000 hands of 2/4, I'm running 2.7bb/100.

Am I the only one that finds the party 2/4 game easier than the 1/2? Why is it this way?
