CO is 21/2.33/1 tight-passive. Doesn't seem all that good, but pretty tight and pretty passive. BB is the biggest fish I have ever seen. He calls down with any piece of the board and any draw.

I was trying to isolate the fish but that didn't work. Was this a questionable move? Flop: ($9) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, BB checks, CO bets $4, Hero calls $4, BB folds. I am either way behind a bigger ace or way ahead of a lower pair/no pair so I decide to check/call to give someone a chance to take a stab at it and then I'll see what happens on the turn. Planning on leading the turn and folding to a raise, basically. Turn: ($17) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, CO bets $6, Hero calls $6. Now I have a full house, so I assume we are either splitting or I am still way ahead, so I decide there is no harm in check/call to give him another chance to bluff at it and maybe I'll hit my kicker for the bigger boat. River: ($29) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) Wow, this never happens. I actually hit my kicker. So I push trying to make it look like a steal the split pot move. Good? Hero bets $17, CO calls $16.90 (All-In). Final Pot: $62.90 Edit: OK, this is actually what I was thinking at the time, but I now realise that it is completely moronic. Obviously my hand is still AA444. Somehow I thought it was AAA44 turning into AAA88. Too late at night. Anyways, please just comment on the rest of it. Particularly comments on the preflop move would be appreciated. |
