Default Dan Harrington Rope-A-Dope move

I don't know if I'm missing out on alot of chips by not employing Dan Harrington's Rope-A-Dope tactic. I can't see myself only calling with TPTK past the turn, probably not even river. when the pot has been raised twice preflop, i'd usually be satisfied to take it down right there on the flop.

i usually gamble (attempt to steal) alot preflop. i'm fairly aggressive when i need to be. does the "gamble" in preflop aggression equate to the "gamble" in post-flop slowplaying? i see myself losing far too many chips my slow playing hands like the one Harrington advises.
